the questions you may have about our products and services.

Q: Do you supply a complete solution?
A: Yes, in virtually every case, we supply all relevant hardware and software together with full
implementation and training.
Q: Are your products available through third parties?
A: Some are — depending on your location and industry sector. Contact us
for up-to-date details.
Q: Will I have to employ consultants to implement your systems?
A: If this is your preferred method of working, we will happily work with your nominated consultant.
However, in most cases we provide the full implementation package at a fixed price and to agreed deadlines.
Q: Who are the originators and designers of the core software?
A: We are. The software has been developed over many years working closely with our customers in food processing. Q: Are your systems only applicable to the food industry?
A: No. Our long association with food manufacturers and processors means that the more stringent
requirements of this industry have been incorporated into the designs. However, many food-related requirements,
such as product traceability, are becoming fundamental requirements in other industries.
Computerway products and systems can be applied to virtually any sector that
manufactures, processes or distributes.
Q: Can I specify the manufacturer of the server?
A: Yes, in principle we would need to confirm your choice. We work with many of the leading
brands and can recommend tried and proven products.
Q: Can Computerway systems be integrated with ERP and / or financial systems?
A: Yes — many of our installed systems operate in this way. We would need to know specific
details to confirm.
Q:. Who would carry out any integration work?
A: This would be agreed on a case by case basis and in principle we would expect to carry out this work.
Q:. Can I specify my preferred manufacturers of hardware peripherals, such as scanners and printers?
A: Yes, in principle. Computerway systems have been integrated with equipment from most of the leading
manufacturers. However, from experience, we do have our preferred equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
Q: Can other office or factory systems be integrated with Computerway systems?
A: Yes, in principle, but specific details would need to be known to confirm.
Q: How long does it take to implement a typical system?
A: There is very much dependent on the time invested in training your people. Releasing busy people is never
easy and comprehensive training of all those who will be involved with the system is an essential ingredient
for success. 12 to 16 weeks from defining user requirements is fairly typical for a medium-sized, single site.
Q: Will there be any disruption to my Operations during the implementation phase?
A: As with any new system, there will inevitably be some disruption. However, we fully understand the need to
maintain operational levels and are experienced in putting in our systems as smoothly as possible. Where appropriate
we will work extended hours and weekends to help achieve this.
Q: What service backup do you provide?
A: A comprehensive range of service support contracts is available to ensure your system runs at peak
performance. Our service team is available 24 hours/7 day to provide support by telephone, modem or site visit.
Q: In which countries are Computerway products available?
A: Currently, the UK and the Republic of Ireland. We are seeking distributor partners in other selected
